My Go-To Looks This Fall
Here is a glimpse into my fashion trends from the past few months of my life! This fall, I have been sporting simple, neutral colored outfits. I love long cardigans because they make your outfit look put together, AKA minimal effort. I love pairing colorful or patterned cardigans with neutral shirts and jeans! This tones down your outfit and keeps it from being over the top. For more formal events, I have worn a ParkerNY dress. I know what you’re thinking. Floral in fall? Yes, I think when you wear more of a wintery suede shoe, which is what I did, it makes it more of a transition outfit. So, when it is 70 degrees outside, you can wear a mix of a summer and fall dress with winter heels!
For casual outfits, I am always loving lululemon. The clothes are athletic and look nicer than just shorts and T-shirts for when I’m going to class. I love wearing jeans with holes in them because they make a good transition pant. They don’t look like I am wearing a winter outfit, but they don’t look too summery either. I think casual shirts and nicer booties are a must for fall. Your outfit doesn’t look too fancy and keeps a casual feel at the same time. It’s a win-win situation!
From this blog post, you now know that transitioning into new seasons is not an easy task. My tips are to slowly incorporate fall trends with your summer clothes and to dress up your shoes rather than your shirt. I hope everyone has fun making new outfits this season! Remember, keep them simple and neutral with an accent pop every once and a while! Happy Fall, y’all!

How To Conquer Cozy Days
You wake up from a long hibernation and check your phone per usual. You scroll through Instagram, Twitter and Snapchat stories that were posted while you were slumbering. Finally, you check the weather… 35 degrees! You’re kidding. Don’t fret just yet; continue reading to find out how to cope with a chilly, cozy day.
First things first, you have to quickly spring out of bed and run to your closet. Put on the coziest sweater you can find and some fuzzy socks to top it off. Hop back in your bed before your sheets lose their warmth and call your friends to come Netflix with you. Once the phone calls are made, get back out of bed and go make a yummy drink of your choice. My go-to drink is hot green tea with honey or a medium roast K-Cup.
Now, don’t be impatient like I am every morning and sip it after it’s freshly brewed. You WILL burn your tongue. After your tongue is scorched, get back in bed and wait for your friends to arrive. Gather every soft blanket you can find, and I mean every single one. Hopefully your friends have arrived by now, but if not, don’t worry because this can be a party for one, as well.
Finally, start that Netflix movie and have the coziest day ever! Congrats on being super productive today! Just kidding, but everyone deserves a lazy day!

Winter White, Hot or Not?
There is a lot of controversy about winter white being a new trend this season. There’s always been a rule about not wearing white after Labor Day, but I think the past tradition will soon be tossed out. I seem to always sport white jeans recently, and I either get praising or displeased comments. I love the new trend personally! Oprah recently posted in her magazine about winter white making a new staple trend for winter. I agree with her 100 percent. I think white jeans make any look more sophisticated, and it automatically makes your outfit look more put together. I love wearing a casual tee and throwing on distressed white jeans because it looked like I put more effort into the outfit than what I actually did.
I can’t wait to see more people wearing white jeans this upcoming season. I am excited for more white-on-white outfits. Although there is a fine line in wearing too much white, I think a casual white shirt or tank with distressed jeans is perfectly OK, but when it comes to a dressier shirt and pant, it gets a little riskier. In contrast, I love wearing a light cream shirt with white jeans, if you have a dressier outfit. I think it flows perfectly and looks super put together!
I hope this blog helped you decide if you should rock the white this fall and winter season! So, let’s break the outdated tradition together and bring on winter white! These are some pictures from when I have sported the white trend this fall!

It’s Autumn Time!
Finally, my all-time favorite season is just around the corner. Are you wondering what the trends are for this season? Well, good thing you happened upon this post because I am blogging about all things fall fashion!
It’s sweater weather, so that means chunky sweaters. I cannot survive without this staple item. I love throwing on a chunky sweater because it is easy, and you can dull the rest of your outfit down! I like to buy these sweaters a size up from what you would normally buy because it gives your outfit a more casual, bohemian-type look. Free People is definitely a prime place to pick one up.
Hats on hats on hats, ladies! This is also a staple piece that is easy to sport. Hats can sometimes be intimidating, but once you buy one, you will be hooked! For this fall, neutral hats with medium-sized brims are imperative. Lately when I have been looking in fashion magazines, I have seen the CUTEST hats! Free People and Revolve have the best selections. They also have them modeled with perfect outfits, so try not to buy the whole store.
The best feeling in the world is when you can put away your flip-flops and pull out your fall shoes! This season over-the-knee boots, fringe booties and nude heels are an absolute must. You can find these types of shoes at a bunch of different stores, so pick some up at your favorite store and rock them!
These are some ideas I use as inspiration for my fall outfits!

Summer Lookbook
Here’s my guide to impress anyone with your summer look. I use simple ideas and incorporate current trends to make my outfits stellar! My motto is you don’t have to spend a lot of money to look good. These looks can be made with spending minimal amounts of money.
Start with a simple dress, like a trendy T-shirt dress or an off-the-shoulder one. I always see good ones at Free People or somewhere like Nordstrom. You can invest in a good quality one or find a really inexpensive one at Forever21.
Next, get a comfortable but statement making shoe. This season gladiators and cute flip-flops have been trending. The prices vary with every sandal, but you can find cute ones to rock your look at many different price points. My favorite shoes are Tory Burch sandals. A less expensive version is any sandal that will make your dress pop!
Next, pair your dress with a sassy purse that will tie the whole look together. More expensive options include Marc by Marc and Louie Vuitton purses. I also like Rebecca Minkoff and Givenchy. You can get more affordable purses at the teen section of Nordstrom and stores like Forever21.
I hoped you enjoyed my guide to summer fashion. Here is a picture of my friends and me. This is just an example of how we like to dress trendy with simple items!

Skincare Regimen!
I am always asked what kind of face wash and moisturizer I use to keep my face clear. People are always taken aback once they discover I have been using the same products since middle school! I have tried all types of cleansers and moisturizers (expensive and cheap), and I always come back to my original cleanser. You will be happy to learn my holy grail cleanser is actually from the drug store. It is the Clean & Clear Morning Burst Cleanser. It’s the orange one, which is my personal favorite. It is cost effective, oil-free, gets all makeup residue off and leaves your skin feeling baby smooth! I use it in the morning, at night and anytime I shower. It is easy to travel with because it comes in a travel size, which I always refill (very economical). It is my favorite face product of all time. Everyone needs to try it out because it is seriously life changing!
Now onto moisturizers. I use the M.A.C. Oil Control Moisturizer. It comes in many sizes, which makes it easy to purchase a travel size and a regular size for your medicine cabinet. It is really light and viscous, which makes for easy application. It also “controls oil,” which makes me happy because it accomplishes what it is supposed to do and makes your makeup last all day with minimal oil. Although it is a little pricey, it is well worth it because of its no-shine base and the natural exfoliants for a perfect application. This everyday face product is purchased over and over and will always be a top pick when it comes to moisturizers!

My Go-To Hairstyles
Everyone has their go-to hairstyle. I feel like it is imperative to have one because you can whip it out on spot. I love throwing my hair into a ponytail or half up, whenever I am feeling it. All you need is a hair tie, which is on 99 percent of every girls’ wrist. My go-to hairstyle is a high pony or a half-up messy bun (trendy I know).
When I’m either in class or walking with the sun beating down on me, I usually utilize these hairstyles. I love high ponytails because it is fast and goes with any outfit. My mom always taught me a high pony is more flattering than a low pony because your hair is on the top of your head, which elongates your face (point of interest: instantly skinnier). A high ponytail also gets your hair out of your face, if you’re getting hot or if it is super windy outside and you’re sick of your hair blowing in your face. Remember ladies, the messier the ponytail, the better it looks!
I love to throw my hair in a trendy half-up messy bun, as well. I know the hairstyle sounds technical and difficult, but I can assure you it might in fact be easier than a ponytail. All I do is section my hair with what hair I want to be in a bun and make a messy bun. You can do more or less hair depending on how thick and big you want your messy bun to be. There is no rhyme or reason to it, just twist and knot it up… literally. It takes seconds, and looks like you put thought and effort into it.
I hope this helps you with coming up with some of your own go-to hairstyles!
